Common questions
Licences, rates and campaigns, answered
The GCC’s licence rules, what creators charge, and how a campaign reaches creators in all six markets.
Do influencers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia need a licence?
Yes. Paid promotional content requires a government permit in both markets: an advertiser permit in the UAE, and a Mawthooq permit from the General Authority of Media Regulation in Saudi Arabia. Vyne shows each creator’s licence status on their profile, so you can check it before you reach out rather than after a campaign is agreed.
What about Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain?
No individual influencer licence is mandatory in those four markets. That is not the same as nobody holding one: some creators in Oman and Qatar have a licence recorded on their profile anyway. Where a creator has submitted a licence, their profile shows it and whether Vyne has checked it yet; where they have not, it shows that none is required rather than implying a requirement that does not exist.
How much do influencers charge in the GCC?
Rates vary by market, by follower count and by format. A single Instagram Reel from a creator in Dubai is usually priced differently from the same post in Muscat or Manama, and a batch of UGC is usually priced below in-feed promotion. Almost every Vyne profile lists that creator’s own package prices, so you can plan a budget before you start a conversation rather than asking ten people for a rate card.
How do I find influencers for a particular market or niche?
Filter the directory by country, niche and licence status, sort it by price or reach, or open a market page such as beauty influencers in the UAE or food creators in Qatar. If you would rather creators came to you, describe the campaign once and post it as a brief: relevant creators apply to it, and each application shows that creator’s licence status, so you filter before you shortlist rather than after.
Does Vyne take a commission on campaigns?
No. Rates and terms are agreed directly between you and the creator, and Vyne takes no cut of campaign spend on either side. Brands pay for credits, and one credit posts one campaign brief.
Can I work with creators across several GCC markets at once?
Yes. The directory covers the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain, and one campaign brief can reach creators in all six. Licence rules differ by market, so each profile shows its own status and you can filter for it when the market requires a permit.
